[EDIT:] I couldn't stand the stupid green background. It just wasn't working for me. So I changed a few minor colors here and there and now I'm less pissed off about it... [/EDIT]
PLEASE, READ THE DESCRIPTION.
Kay... So, this may sound stupid, but the other day I Googled myself ("OJaganshi") and I found that some old followers of mine had saved my old Yu Yu Hakusho doujinshi that I made years ago. It was embarassing to find, but kind of flattering at the same time because, from what I recall, it was kind of a big hit during MyOtaku days.
I also discovered that one of the users wrote a very kind review on my work and said, "I remember [OJaganshi] when she had all those awesome Kurama/Hiei fanarts up. True, I'm not a fan of the couple, but her artwork was still just so awesome! Her stuff is very clean and crisp..."
She continued on by referencing to my huge gallery wipe after the art theft wouldn't stop, "Sadly, she doesn't have those old pictures in her gallery anymore. She took those down after she left her gallery alone for a while. Though during the year she started to put stuff into her gallery again. NEW stuff, showing how much she had improved over the time! Now, she has some of the best FMA fanarts I have ever scene before! Yet, they still have that clean and crisp look that I love. She even developed a love for the Roy/Ed pairing as well!"
This user's remarks definitely made me smile. It was very kind of that person to write those things about my work. If I had read what she wrote all those years ago (in 2006?), I would have commented when I could.
So, in a sort of "tribute" to all of my old followers, the ones that have been with me since practically DAY ONE, I decided I'd upload my first piece of Kurama/Hiei art in years. Although Hiei looks a little less than interested in showing any signs of affection, it's only appropriate that Kurama be tryin' to wiggle some love out. Gee hee. ♥
If anyone's interested, you can see the cover to my old comic here: [link] God only knows why Kurama has no face... *embarrassedkthxbai*

oh and weird comment, I am starting a doujinshi as we speak. hahhahahhahhhahahaha! would you give me advise on it when I have the cover up? <3 <3 <3 <3 and I love the expressions here, GREAT WORK! ^///^
Hmhmhmhmmmmm... What a pic, what a pic! You are indeed a skilled artist, and I absolutely adore what you've done with the characters. Kurama looks so gleeful in his expression of his devotion toward Hiei, what with the way he's fawning over our favorite fire demon (not to mention throwing himself on him). Hiei, to no great surprise, is putting up a great show of reluctance as the kitsune drapes his body over him. Did I mention Hiei looks good in a tank top? Just a wonderful, wonderful job you've done here.
Well, thank you very much, hon. Your comment was extremely thought out and I really appreciate the time you took to give me such positive feedback. (And I think Hiei looks good in a tank-top too. ) Thanks again, love.
Oh, gosh, thank you so much, babe. I'm happy that my work was so appreciated back then. That's really kind of you to say, too. I read through the panels of the story and-- Ugh. The script... the panel layouts... the story in general... Sheesh, let's just say it's hard for me to understand why people liked it as much as they did. I am still so humbled and grateful for all of the support and encouragement that people gave me.
aww its not embarrassing at all! I love that doujinshi! I looked high and low for it back in the day so I could have it on my own computer. There is a reason why it was one of your best, because its a great piece! I feel quite stupid for not noticing sooner when your name is right there on the cover page....... -__-
